AIR FILTRATION & YOUR HVAC SYSTEM

Choose a filter your system can support.

A filter upgrade should match the equipment and filter slot. EPA recommends MERV 13, or the highest rating your system can accommodate. We can help you discuss the fit before you switch.

Filtration is one part of improving indoor air. Reducing pollutant sources and bringing in clean outdoor air also matter. No filter or air cleaner removes every pollutant.

A SYSTEM-INTEGRATED OPTION

Air Scrubber by ActivePure®

Jimmy Jones Company installs Air Scrubber equipment on compatible ducted systems. The photo above shows an installed device; suitability for your home depends on the proposed equipment and application.

The A1013V uses an ActivePure cell assembly with a UV bulb and mounts in the supply ductwork. We can discuss the model, installation requirements and upkeep before you choose an option.

Product suitability depends on your HVAC equipment, airflow and home layout. We will help you understand the proposed application and what to expect.

LOOK AT HOW AIR REACHES EACH ROOM

Duct sealing & indoor comfort

Leaky ducts can lose conditioned air into attics, crawl spaces and other unconditioned areas. Sealing accessible leaks may help air reach the rooms it is intended to serve.

Call to discuss duct sealing and availability for your address. If your system also struggles to cool the home, visit our air conditioning services page. For ongoing equipment care, explore the Comfort Club maintenance plan.

PRACTICAL ANSWERS

Indoor air quality FAQs

Should I start with a filter upgrade or an Air Scrubber?
Start with the concern and your current equipment. Filtration and an Air Scrubber are different options with different upkeep. We can discuss system compatibility and the proposed purpose of each before you purchase.
Can I use a higher-rated filter in my current HVAC system?
Possibly. The filter must fit the slot and suit the system’s airflow requirements. Have the equipment and filter choice checked before upgrading; a higher number alone does not establish the right fit.
Will an air cleaner solve a mold or moisture problem?
No. The moisture source and mold problem need to be addressed. An air cleaner does not fix a leak or remove the underlying cause of dampness. See the EPA’s air-cleaning guidance for more about these limits.
How often should I change filters or service an Air Scrubber?
Follow the instructions for your exact filter and equipment; household conditions can affect filter replacement needs. The A1013V Air Scrubber manual specifies cell replacement every two years. Share your model and installation date when arranging service.
How much does indoor air quality service cost?
The price depends on whether you need an assessment, compatible filtration, an air-cleaning installation or duct work. Call with your address and concern to discuss the next step and any visit charge. Equipment and installation pricing depend on the proposed work.
What should I include in a service request?
Include your callback number, service address and a description of the dust, odor or comfort issue. Mention “indoor air quality” in the message, and add your equipment or air-cleaner model if known. Our team will confirm availability and scheduling. An online request is not a confirmed appointment; call to confirm availability.
